Ltd. is to be held in October 2017 at Hanuwantiya also known as Hanumantiya at the beautiful backwaters of the Indira Sagar Dam on the Narmada River which is man-made yet seems like a miracle of nature. To boost the footfall of both inbound and outbound tourists in the state the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has yet again organized the Jal Mahotsav water festival amidst the gleaming waves of Narmada River in Hanuwantiya. After witnessing the fantastic response received last time when the festival was held for 31 days this time Madhya Pradesh Tourism decided to make this festival an 80 days mega festival – bigger and better than before. It is a unique destination to rejuvenate life. The place is a water body of about 900 sq. km with approx. 99 islands having dense forest and is inherited by different animals where one can do camp-fire trekking and bird watching.
